Split personality

I like to be on time, and to plan ahead. I like it when things are done in a timely manner. I like to follow traffic rules and I think that tax evasion is wrong. I like to spend my time in quiet places away from crowds. I'm a nonconformist and I find many traditions annoying, even oppressive. That's why I find this surprising:

Your Inner European is Italian!

Passionate and colorful.

You show the world what culture really is.

I'm glad that my inner European finds herself exactly where she should be. But how does this square with the characteristics I mentioned above? To whom do they belong? Do I have an outer European? If so, who is she, and can the both of us be happy here in Italy?

I took this test and I was told that I have an innter Italian too! How funny!

Sorry about your paperwork problems. I once lost my american passport just when I needed it most (I had booked a flight to get home for a death in the family). That was Saturday, on Monday we drove to the consulate's office in Florence and in just three hours I had my new passport!

Some days I LOVE living in Italy, while other days I really miss America.

Good luck with your carta! If you need any advise, just drop me a line! I'm a pro now! hehehehe!

Thanks Cyndi!

It's the same for me- I'm actually quite happy here but sometimes not being able to do things "the American way" gets me down.

I got French a couple of months ago and Spanish today. I've never even been to Spain!

Well. I took the quiz and it said that I'm French...too bad, b/c I'm still moving to Italy :)

I'm enjoying catching up on your blog...(thanks for the nice comments about my photos. I just put them together as a single image on Photoshop, but I'm glad you like them!)
